Phil started his career as a waterjet operator and his fascination with the technology hasn’t waned. “I think waterjet cutting still might be undervalued as a process to cut virtually anything with incredibly high accuracy and finish quality. At Minnesota Waterjet, that is what we did every day. Carbon, stainless steel, titanium and aluminum were most common, but then we would switch over to plastics, rubbers and even glass projects. The applications are limitless. It is incredible technology.” Phil navigated his career through waterjets, to lasers, to manufacturing engineering, to sales engineering and is now sharing that expertise via his Business Development role at Jet Edge.
